Watch groom WAKEBOARD to his wedding down the Menai Strait
This is the moment a groom makes a spectacular entrance on his wedding day by wakeboarding down the Menai Strait.
Matt Knight, 40, arrived James Bond-style wearing a full tuxedo with his two best men Chris and Paul.
The spectacular drone footage shows the groom and two best men performing stunts and somersaulting into the water.
The groom’s bride Kirsty James was watching out of the window at the Chateau Rhianfa hotel on Anglesey .
Kirsty, 39, said: “He is a massive James Bond fan and that’s where the original idea came from.”
“He has been wakeboarding and waterskiing since he was six-years-old. We have a caravan near there for that reason.”
Matt, who works in the aerospace industry, and Kirsty, a finance director, enjoyed their dream day on April 22 before going on honeymoon in Rhodes.
“It was absolutely magical,” added Kirsty, from Stoke-on-Trent. “We could not have wished for better weather and everyone was brilliant.”
Julia Chapman, who photographed the wedding for Pensans Photography, said: “We all joked about the groom doing a Daniel Craig and arriving in the water.
“I was with Kirsty who was already there and was watching them out of the window.”
“It was probably the most exciting wedding we’ve done and such a gorgeous day. It was so memorable.”
