Zip World and the Daily Post are teaming up to offer 20 readers the chance to be among the first people to try the attraction’s hair-raising new ride the Fforest Coaster.
The 1km-long thrill ride, which riders control themselves, is unique to the Betws-y-Coed park, and open on May 10. But if you want to be in with a chance of being among the first to try it out, you need to apply now.
Applications – which will be granted on a first come, first served basis, must be by tomorrow, so gets yours in now.
Apply here to be one of first riders of Zip World’s new Fforest Coaster
Zip World co-founder, Sean Taylor, says: “Allowing passengers to control the speed of our Zip World Fforest Coaster for themselves means we can offer our visitors a unique user experience.
“This, combined with our stunning mountain views, makes for a truly memorable day out for all the family.”
Starting their journey in the heart of the woodland, visitors are strapped into their sledge with the simple controls meaning that all visitors from the age of nine can take control of how fast they go.
Braking and control systems ensure that sledges are kept a safe distance apart and also enforce a maximum speed.
The applications to be among the first 20 Daily Post riders will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. No transport or accommodation will be provided. Each application is based on one individual riding and so applicants must be of the required age (9) to ride alone. Time for first rides is between 10am-11am on 10th May.
