Body of man found on Prestatyn beach
The body of a man has been found on a beach.
North Wales Police and the Coastguard were called to Ffrith Beach in Prestatyn at 6.36am today.
Several police vehicles were parked at the scene with the area being cordoned off as the body was recovered.
Staff at Ffrith Indoor Bowls Club on Ferguson Avenue arrived to open up the premisies this morning but found the car park had also been taped off.
Crime Scene Investigators were also spotted at the scene.
Police have confirmed that they do not believe the death to be suspicious.
Officers are conducting inquiries to identify who the man is.
A North Wales Police spokeswoman said: “Police were called at 6.36am today to a report of the body of a man being found on the beach near the Ffrith in Prestatyn.
“North Wales Police and the Coastguard are in attendance , but the death is not believed to be suspicious.
“Inquiries are currently ongoing to identify the man.”
