Woman's body found as police continue to quiz man in Kinmel Bay murder probe
Police say they have found a woman’s body as they continue to question a 48-year-old man in relation to the disappearance of a Kinmel Bay mum-of-two.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said the body was found today and a post mortem examination is taking place.
Superintendent Mark Pierce said: “I can confirm that a body was found earlier today and an investigation remains ongoing.
“A Home Office post mortem examination is taking place and no formal identification has yet taken place.”
Police added that they are continuing to question a 48-year-old man, who remains in custody at St Asaph after being arrested on suspicion of murder.
The man was arrested following the disappearance of Tracy Kearns, 43, who was last seen at around 8pm on Sunday, May 7.
