Armed police in Wrexham raid property and recover handgun
Armed police raided a property in the Ruabon area of Wrexham this morning after a tip off from the public.
Officers executed a warrant and recovered a gas-powered handgun from the address.
No one was arrested, say North Wales Police.
CI Dave Jolly of North Wales Police said: “Based on intelligence from the local community we executed a firearms warrant at an address off Daniels Drive, Ruabon this morning.
“A gas powered hand gun was recovered. No one has been arrested.”
“I appreciate that this operation may have caused some disruption and I would like to thank local residents for their understanding.”
