Armed police rescue man whose life was in danger on A55
Armed police rescued a man on the A55 who was threatening to harm himself.
North Wales Police were called to the expressway at roughly 1.30pm today.
It is believed, but not confirmed, that the incident took place on the westbound carriageway near the Penmaenbach tunnel.

Traffic was stopped briefly while specially-trained officers dealt with the situation.
The road was fully re-opened and traffic had returned to normal by 2.30pm.
