Bill Shorten has backtracked on his promise to lift the so-called tampon tax if a Labor government is elected in July.
After saying last year that tampons were ‘essential’ items like condoms and lubricant, Bill Shorten has backtracked about a tampon tax which he will not remove, in spite of the Labor party’s statements.
