Broken down lorry causes three-mile long queues on the A55
A broken down lorry caused traffic misery on the A55 this morning.
The vehicle got into difficulty on the eastbound carriageway near Ewloe shortly after 7am.
The lorry blocked one lane of the expressway and queues quickly started to build.

Motorists were at a standstill with delays of roughly half an hour through the blockage.
The broken down vehicle was removed by 9.15am and traffic had returned to normal 15 minutes later.
