Comedian John Bishop spotted enjoying early morning walk up Snowdon

Comedian John Bishop surprised visitors at a café in Snowdonia earlier today by paying for their breakfast.

The scouser visited Bryn Glo, a café and B&B, before making his way up Snowdon .

‎Eirian Evans, who runs Bryn Glo, said: “He was lovely and charming. He came in on his way up Snowdon.”

“Before he came in he was chatting to two girls and when he walked away, I went over and said that looks like John Bishop.

“They said it is him and he is very down to earth.”

“I asked him to take a selfie with me and he took it because I couldn’t do it.”

She added: “When he came to pay I said no you don’t have to because you do a lot for charity. Then he paid £20 for the girls breakfast which was lovely of him.”

The comedian took a break from his Winging It tour to stop and take selfies with climbers on the way up Snowdon.

John Bishop shared a photo of himself on the way to the top of the summit on his social media accounts.

He captioned it: “Thought I would get up early and go for a walk this morning #Snowdon.”

The girls who he bought breakfast for commented that it was ‘super kind and unexpected’ on social media.
