Firefighters rescue two people from house fire near Mold
Two people trapped in a blazing house fire near Mold had to be rescued by firefighters.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to a fire at a property on Pant Du Road, Eryrys at 4.47am today.
They were told two occupants of the house, a man and a woman, were unable to get out of the building.
They were both rescued by the fire service. One person who lived in the house was outside when crews arrived.
A spokeswoman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said three patients were taken to Wrexham Maelor hospital.
At 7.30am crews were still on the scene damping down the fire and the cause is under investigation.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were also called to a fire on Sand Street, Pwlllheli at 0.43am.
Two crews were sent to the scene and one woman was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd at Bangor to be treated for smoke inhaltion.
The fire was started accidentally.
