Lucky escape for passenger who had his feet on dashboard when car crashed into HGV on A55 in Gwynedd
A passenger who had his feet on the dashboard when the car he was in crashed into a lorry had a “lucky” escape.
The man suffered minor injuries in the accident on the A55 in Gwynedd.
Emergency services were called at about 12.50pm to a two-vehicle accident between junction 10 and 11 on the eastbound carriageway.
One lane was closed while police and ambulance assessed the scene.

A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called at about 12.55pm to reports of a road traffic collision on the A55 near Bangor.
“One man has been taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd with non-life-threatening injuries.”
There was heavy traffic in the area until the road was fully reopened at about 2pm.
