Man arrested on suspicion of murder after Kinmel Bay woman goes missing
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the disappearance of a woman in Kinmel Bay.
Tracy Kearns, 43, has not been seen since around 8pm on Sunday, May 7.
Today, North Wales Police have arrested a 48-year-old man from Kinmel Bay on suspicion of murder.
The man is known to Tracy and is in police custody at St Asaph police station.
Police have not found Tracy and are appealing for anyone who has information about her movements to come forward.
There will be extra police patrols in the area as officers carry out further enquiries into her disappearance.
Supt Sian Beck said: “Tracy has not yet been found and we are still appealing to the public for information about her movements after 8pm on Sunday May 7.
“There will be an increased police presence in Kinmel Bay as officers conduct their enquiries and I would like to thank the public for their cooperation so far.
“This is a difficult time for Tracy’s family, who are being supported by specially trained officers.”
Tracy is described as 5ft 3ins tall with sandy shoulder length hair.
