MULTIPLE car crashes on icy stretch of New Mexico highway cause 38-mile stretch of road to be shut down
State Police initially reported a wreck involving about 40 vehicles on westbound Interstate 40. A spokesman later said there actually were multiple crashes ‘in a concentrated area’.
