Police make arrest in hunt for Bangor flasher

North Wales Police arrested a 24 year-old local male on Friday evening in connection with two incidents of indecent exposure in the last 10 days.
At 4pm yesterday one teenager was walking on a footpath between St David’s Close and Maes Berea when a man accosted her and flashed his genitals.

Both victims were walking to or from school.
On the same day a man exposed himself to a woman on the lower end of Belmont Road.
Police issued a description and an e-fit picture of the man was circulated after the offences.
High visibility patrols were conducted around schools and officer made house to house enquiries as they sought the offender.
Superintendent Nigel Harrison said he is grateful for the help police have received.
He said: “I would like to thank the public for the significant response we have had to our public appeal for information.
“The investigation by detectives is ongoing and I would like to reassure the public that incidents of this nature are rare”.
The man remains in police custody.
