Sunny but unsettled weather for North Wales over weekend
North Wales is in for a spell of unsettled and dull weather over the weekend.
With the exception of a small window of sunshine in the north-east of the region today it’s looking decidedly grey.
After a dry Friday night with chilly spells Saturday starts off gloomy apart from some clear, bright skies across parts of Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham.
But by mid-morning rain is forecast across the whole of North Wales.
Locally these could be heavy with a risk of thundery weather moving eastwards but this will ease through the afternoon with some sunny intervals.
Maximum temperatures will reach around 16°C.
Throughout this evening into Sunday it will be a cool night dropping as low as 3°C but dry.
Some parts will see sunny spells amid light showers.
Temperatures are poised to hit a high of around 16 or 17°C in the north-east of the region.
Over tomorrow and into Monday overnight temperatures will remain in double digits for the most part.
It will be cloudy on Monday with some light rain, mainly in the north, and breezier with sunny spells on Tuesday.
Monday will see highs of 17°C but Tuesday will be just a couple of degrees cooler at 14 or 15°C.
