House prices boomed by £1,000 a month in Wrexham over the past year.
The county enjoyed a positive year in the housing market – which comes as developments like Wrexham prison and Moneypenny’s new multi-million pound offices have boosted the economy.
Prices in the town rose from £141K to £153K between March 2016 and March 2017 according to the Land Registry, which records sale prices.
Property owners in Conwy also enjoyed a positive 12 months with the average price of a home up to £152K, an increase of 6.1% on last year.
Anglesey still has the highest average prices in North Wales at £159K although this was a slight decline on last year.
