Woman escapes bedroom inferno in Rhyl
A woman was taken to hospital this morning after a bedroom in Rhyl , was destroyed by a fire.
The blaze broke out a house on Gwynfryn Avenue shortly before 1.55am.
Two fire engines from Rhyl extinguished the blaze by 3.35am.
The cause of the fire was still under investigation.
A North Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “We received a call at 1.55am to reports of a fire in a bedroom at Gwynfryn Avenue, Rhyl.
“We sent two pumps from Rhyl to the scene.
“The bedroom suffered 100% damage.
“A woman had gotten out the property, but was taken to hospital for smoke inhalation treatment.
“The cause is being investigated.”
